About

I'm David Archuleta. I was raised in Pueblo, CO and live in Portland, OR.

I've worked as a graphic and UX designer, dishwasher, bike courier, touring drummer, candle maker, and PC refurbishment technician. My background is in analytical computer science and human-centered design, which grounds my approach to how people experience their environments, whether physical or virtual. I'm currently studying Urban Planning at Portland State University with a focus on transportation and land use. I'm motivated by planning that advances ecologically robust urban areas that are valuable to the communities that use them.

I'm a big fan of saunas, trains, and sauna trains (though there aren't enough of those in the world). I'm also a fledgling table tennis player.
