Providing custom graphics for an independent chef's pop-up events.

2022

This project was designed to support a set of culinary events curated by a private chef from the Pacific Northwest.

We chose to print hand flyers to promote the event so that it would feel more like a promotion for a punk show.

I designed two flyers for two different events and we sought to stay consistent with both deliveries. The first flyer features a mackerel and the second features a squab leg, both to highlight one of the main courses in each dinner respectively.

For the second event, I had to figure out how to add more information to the original format. I also took it as a chance to move the QR code, placing more importance on the event site and thus setting the info to support the function of a flyer.

I also created a website for interested parties to purchase tickets and reserve their spot for the event. To add more utility to the flyers, I also included a QR code so people could scan and be brought to the website, where they could learn more about menu items and the chef hosting the event.
